Customer Service Representative
A CSR's day typically consists of answering the phone by 3rd ring numerous times
throughout the day. Taking referrals from physicians, nurses, case managers,
and other health care staff. Working with other departments to ensure timely/accurate
delivery of products and services. Order entry into billing and patient management
system. Assisting in retrieving adequate documentation for products and services
provided so that insurance can be billed.
Job requires attention to detail, Computer skills, ability to multi-task, dependability,
and ability to communicate well with the public. Must be enthusiastic and motivated
individual. must have excellent organization skills. Knowledge of ICD-9 coding,
Knowledge of procedure codes as it relates to products for insurance companies.
Knowledge of the DME industry is preferred.
